I just finished sewing myself a new jacket. Its a wool herringbone with metal threads mixed in. The metal threads help give it the crinkled texture, which I like. Its not the softest fabric ffor brushing up against though. The liner is a simple off white cotton.
I plan to make another one with different fabric and if they go well, perhaps we'll start selling them.
